Can 2 columns have a common WiP limit?

In Kanban introductions you often see a split DEVColumn with the sub columns in Dev/ Dev Done.

There is only an overall WiP-Limit of the column DEV

Is it possible to create this kind of sub columns in JIRA Agile?

Hi Norbert,

As far as I know it's not possible to limit the amount of cards on JIRA Agile. You can add a maximum value for each column on the board configuration, but it'll just turn your cards colours into red cards, it won't block the column to receive another cards, however.

Additionally, you can't create sub-columns, but you can add new columns (as many as you want) through your board Configuration > Columns session.
