I'm not entirely clear on what a lot of these items are, but a lot of it sounds like you should be doing them in JIRA rather than Confluence

-          Open Items: List of items that need to be addressed by regional or global teams, including Item Description, Comments, Due Date and Owner.

That's clearly a to-do list, with tracking, assignees, dates, comments, user responsibilities and so-on.  This would be better implemented in JIRA

-          Open JIRAs: List of open items related to the Lounge Operations, including Description, Comments, Owner and Link to the actual JIRA.

I assume you want to report on  JIRA in Confluence with this one.  Have a look in Confluence for the "JIRA Issues" macro - that can draw issues from JIRA into your pages.

-          Reports:

  • Device Tracker: History of all the device tracker files.
  • Connectivity Log: History of all the connectivity log files.

I'm really not sure about these, you probably need to expand on what you're trying to achieve with these.

-          Weekly Meetings: Agenda or items to be discuss in the weekly meetings by date.

Definitely a good thing to do in Confluence - there's even a standard "Meeting Blueprint" you can use for it

-          Upcoming Lounges: List of upcoming lounges including Lounge Code, Lounge Name, Airport Code, Airport Name, City, Country and Programs Accepted.

I don't know what you mean by "lounge", but with that list of fields, I'd be tempted to implement these in JIRA as well.

-          Current Inventory: List of items an current inventory.

Difficult - how do you want to represent these items?  A page for each one?  Or is the data highly structured, like the list of fields you've given for "lounges"?

-          Releases: List of new functionalities of bug fixes by release.

JIRA has a lot of stuff around versions, releases and bug fixing, that's what it is for!

Thank you for the detailed response. I am very new to Confluence and JIRA so I am not exactly sure where to start to implement these requirements. What exactly is JIRA? Reports: •Device Tracker: History of all the device tracker files. •Connectivity Log: History of all the connectivity log files. I'm really not sure about these, you probably need to expand on what you're trying to achieve with these. -For the device tracker there will be a general history of the tracker files probably with a columbn of device tracker and another column with the device ID or number. For Connectivity log there wil be just a list of data logs for this Upcoming Lounges: List of upcoming lounges including Lounge Code, Lounge Name, Airport Code, Airport Name, City, Country and Programs Accepted. I don't know what you mean by "lounge", but with that list of fields, I'd be tempted to implement these in JIRA as well. -Lounge is a Airport lounge where passengers relax before a flight, So those fields would represent that inforamtion thats listed above. - Current Inventory: List of items an current inventory. Difficult - how do you want to represent these items? A page for each one? Or is the data highly structured, like the list of fields you've given for "lounges"? Probably a list of fields habing the lounge type, inventory type, and amount of it Can you get back to me on this? Thanks!

Jira is an issue tracker, I thought you'd have known that as you already mention it in the requirements! It really does sound like you need both JIRA and Confluence for this. Confluence is aimed at writing and presenting information to users, it's features around task or resource tracking are limited - those things are far better done in JIRA where you can have structured fields and develop workflows to match the processes that you want to go through.

Apparantly these are just some data I will be using in creating the structure in Confluence. The purpose here is to use this data to come up with a structure in Confluence that an Operations team can use to manage their operations. And thats the situation I am not sure where to store this data, I am trying to figure out the best way, can you please assist?
