I'm JIRA newbie.
I have a filter - a set of issues, after I share that filter to someone (an Google account), what they get is just a link with name as the name of the filter.

Is there any way to make the filter display as a table/list of issues (which pre-selected columns) directly in the mail content ? so my friend can view the list of issues right there without clicking the link - like the subscription ( I saw it displays directly in the mail content, but don't know why filter sharing doesn't work like that ).
Very appreciate with any helps.
Hi Long,
I have a similar usage of sharing issues and specifally filter lists - to keep customers (non users) up to date. Maybe this free plugin would be a nice solution for your request?

You will be able to grant a 1:1 view of filter list to your customers (non users), no refreshing or additional shares
Hi Long, An opportunity would be to send your Jira admin or at least your project admin your request and additional the documentation https://confluence.aptis.info/display/ISS/Share+Your+JIRA - with the hint, that the plugin is cost free :) Otherwhise I'll hope you find another solution, let me know if you find something :)

Took a look at this plugin and wonder does this really show directly list of filtered issues on mail content (e.g Gmail) via configure on JIRA but not copying the issues list then paste to mail content? That's all what I need. If yes, then I'll suggest project admin to add it.

I hope I understand you right - To make the function clear, I'll explain you my process: First of all you create a normal filter list, afterwards you can click on "public share" and define the columns you want to share. After this the a unique link will be created, which you can send via mail or something else. You will always have control of your shared lists or issues in the tab "public content", where you can interrupt the sharing or edit the defined columns. I hope I explained it well, otherwise feel free to ask or admit it's a free plugin - you can convince by yourself :)

No, the "share filter" is for pointing the recipient at the filter inside the system, not exporting the results and sending them on.
If you want to the results of a filter to go to someone, you'll need to export the current filter and email it as an attachment, or scrape the results screen and paste it into an email.

Thanks, Nic.
So I guess filter sharing is no longer possible. How about the subscription ? is there any options in subscription that help me to subscribe a filter just once time? So my friend can see full list of issues directly.

Er, no, filter sharing has not changed - it's always been this way and it has *never* generated a list of issues. Subscriptions list the issues, but no, there's no way to run it once, unless you want to subscribe them, let it run once and then remove the subscription.
