Hello,

Thank you for your update.

Instead of setting Perforce Visual Client (p4v) as capability in Bamboo, could you please set up p4 instead:

Please, refer to Using Perforce with Bamboo - limitations and workarounds documentation for further information.

If you find this answer useful, I would kindly ask you to accept it so the same will be visible to others who might be facing the same issue you have inquired.

Thank you for your understanding.

Hello,

Could you provide more information, please?

  • screenshot repository configuration in Bamboo
  • screenshot Perforce capability under "Bamboo administration >> Build resources >> Server capabilities"
  • are you able to connect to Perforce by opening a "Command Prompt / Terminal" in the same box where Bamboo is running?

Kind regards,

Thank you Rafael, I am afraid I cannot share screenshots at this point in time.

Yes I am able to connect to perforce, I have perforce visual client installed and I am able to connect to perforce server.

In the server capabilities,Perforce executable points to the visual client executable p4v.

Port points to perforce_server:port_num

Workspace points to the actual workspace name say "drv-lin-ex"

Depot view points to All the mappings that are part of Workspace but something like //clientName/depot/Prj/... .

Also, if there are multiple mappings like this one above, how can use that in Depot View

Thanks Again for your help. Any doc with an example would be really helpful.
