I would like to copy and issue by cloning it. However, I would like the clone to have the same status and resolution as the original.
Anybody know how to do that?

Not out of the box. Cloning is designed to help you create near identical tickets to work and as such doesn't include the data from most fields and starts the issue at Open. Why clone a ticket that has already been worked to resolution?
You can't use the clone function then.

We want to keep a copy of an old project in its original state. Then we will change the schemas to use the same data in a new process.
