How do I manage multiple scrum boards and parallel sprints?

Ponraj Sivasubramaniam March 26, 2015

We have a cloud hosted version of JIRA [https://rewardhealth.atlassian.net] We have multiple teams using this instance and now we would like to create multiple scrum boards and each board would have its own sprint that will run in parallel but may be with different start and end dates[overlapping time periods]. The projects that will be managed through these scrum boards will be independent projects.

Please let me know if this is possible and also we want to keep these boards visible only to selected set of users, is this possible?

Hi, Ponraj.

Not only this is possible, but that's how JIRA Agile works out of the box.

All you need to do is create one board for each of the projects and they'll have their own sprints and will run in parallel.

If you restrict the filter your board uses, that should restrict the access to the board as well.

I hope it was helpful.
