Hi,
I am new to Jira.
I created a custom field (type text) and I'd like to know how to add it in the change request issue type in a project view. I have access ass an administrator.
Any help would be appeciated!
Thanks,
Skender
You might have a separate screen for the 'Create' operation in your project. See https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Associating+a+Screen+with+an+Issue+Operation#AssociatingaScreenwithanIssueOperation-Associatingascreenwithanissueoperation
What do you mean by project view? On the screen while creating an issue? if so, check out https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Configuring+a+Custom+Field#ConfiguringaCustomField-Choosingscreens
Also see https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Defining+a+Screen
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
Ok. Porblem resolved.
I associated to the screen schema (create operation) the default screen (the same of my custom field).
Now I see my CF in create issue.
Thanks a lot!!! You were correct.

Hi Jobim,
This is the situation:
But I still cannot see our custom field in the form create new issue and also I do not see it in the views -> XML.
What could be the problem?
Thanks,
Skender

I mean project, in the sense that this issue belongs to a certain project.
Anyway, yes, screen when creating an issue. I have already put Default Screen.
Thanks Jobin,
Skender
