Does the "Nagios for Jira" plugin work with Icinga?

Thomas Abraham January 29, 2013

Just installed the plugin and connected to an Icinga instance. Refered to the cgi-bin directory as /cgi-bin/icinga. The server is running https only. The plugins responses with "OK, Nagios version unsupported".

The Icinga version is 1.8.4. Is it really not supported, or did I wrong something? The log file does not help that much:

"Exception caught in 500 page No enum const class net.collabsoft.plugins.jira.nagios.objects.NagiosObject$Status"

As fallback I have tried a very old but running Nagios instance (version 3.0.4) which also does not run. It gives the same error message.

My Jira version is 5.2#812

I dont know about that plugin, but failing that, JEMH can consume emails from Nagios and do interesting things like append commets for 'repeats' as well as resolve issues for 'OK' messages, see wiki.
