Embedding confluence content in an external website

JiaZhen Guo March 6, 2015

Someone has already asked it before, but the answer was using CLI to pull the content. However, this is not an option for me as my site is just a couple of static HTML pages.

So is there a way to generate the embeded code to share the content? The usage is we have 2 teams inside the organization - dev and cs. Dev team created some documentation and want to share with CS team, but Dev team do not want to give CS team full access to confluence.

You may want to take a look at our plugin 'Embedder for Confluence'.

You can with the new rest api https://docs.atlassian.com/atlassian-confluence/REST/latest/#d3e833 - you'd need to format the content etc through a dynamic layer.

Might be too much work than it's worth - the Dev team could just lock down the pages they don't want to share.
