Insert reference to page title

Robert Strauch March 5, 2015

Let's say I have a page called "Project Overview". Inside this page I would like to insert a reference to the current page's title so that I don't have to edit all text occurrences if the page title is changed. Is that possible?

Hi Robert,

You could make a user macro:

## @noparams
$content.title

and insert it wherever you want the page title to be displayed.

Thanks for that info. I must be doing some basic thing wrong. I Copy & Paste those two lines but after saving the page there's no execution of a macro. Those lines are just displayed exactly as shown on this page. I've noticed, also, when editing a page the square bracket does not invoke autofill for a link; similarly curly brace does not invoke macro editor. I appreciate your time.
