How to debug Script Runner / Assign to last role member

Hi

I configured workflow to assign issue to last assignee from Developers role with Script Runner's built-in post function, but the assignment does not happen. I tried to get some debug messages in the logs by configuring org.apache.log4j.Level.DEBUG level for com.onresolve.jira.groovy.PostFunction but unfortunately not much is displayed. How can I get more debugging info?

Interestingly, "Assign to First Role Member" option works. But why the latter didn't, and what is the difference between the two is not clear to me. As there was only one assignee from the Developers role in that issue's history, they should have produced the same result, I think.
