How assign external email in mentions

I would like to mention (using @) a third-party supplier in my tasks, and allow them to receive notifications via email. Third-party = email address of someone outside my own company.

You could create a Confluence user for that company and give it permission only to content relevant to them.

In other case, I believe you can share the page with any email address.
