Joel Abad January 9, 2013

hi,

we just downloaded jira and right now we are on the process of testing it. we may be looking in customizing it on the future but at this moment we will use it as it is.

not sure if this have been asked before but my questions is :

how do you format fonts on the some field like 'Description', 'Comment', 'Work Logs', etc...

say i want to make some text in bold or bigger font or on different color (red or blue maybe)

thanks,

jo

For long text fields, change the "renderer" to wiki markup and you'll be able to do things like

*word* to get word

That won't let you fiddle with font-size a lot, but you can do headings, colour, and tables.

It would be easier for you to enable it for an existing field in your system (e.g. description), then go to create or edit an existing issue.

Next to the field you have swapped to render as wiki markup, you'll find two icons - a screen for previewing what you're typing, and a question mark for a full set of help on what you can use in markup.
