Migrated Jira work logs are not shown in Tempo

Janos Kardos February 15, 2015

Hi,

We recently migrated several issues with their work logs from a third party software to JIRA OnDemand by REST API.

We use Tempo Timesheets for work logs but the migrated work logs are not shown. (We have around 1000 work logs in 4 projects that involved in this issue.)

Is there a way to use a script to insert the existing JIRA work logs into Tempo?

Thanks & Regards,

Janos

Hi Janos,

can you create an Issue in our Tempo Support (https://tempoplugin.jira.com/wiki/display/JTS/Getting+Help+and+Support) so we can better investigate this. All added information like the versions of JIRA and Tempo  and about the migrations process are appreciated.

Before creating the Issue in our system, can you confirm that you can view the worklogs in the Issue view (Work logs tab, or if this is disabled in the "All" or "History" tab. If you have work logged on the migrated issues, can you confirm that these worklogs are not showing in your User Timesheet.

All Tempo data is stored in the JIRA database, so if the worklogs are visible in the JIRA issues, they should be available in Tempo.

Kind regards

Susanne
