Running Confluence Questions in the 'standalone' mode that we use on Atlassian Answers requires an system administrator to disable the Confluence Spaces plugin in the add-on manager. If you are a Confluence Cloud customer, you may not have the ability to do this, since you have limited access to the add-on manager.
Please note that we have not yet produced any official documentation on how to perform this customization, so there may be some unknown problems or bugs involved in making this change which we haven't discovered yet.
