Is there an option to track time across "linked-issues"?

I have a user requesting that we investigate the option to track time across "linked-issues" in a similar manner as they are able to track across sub-tasks now - I've looked and can't see a simple solution, and just curious if that is even a possibility - thanks for any suggestions/recommendations

Andriy - if you are still monitoring - we had a longer internal discussion on this - and were curious if it would be possible to implement your "proof-of-concept" using "the time should aggregate both subtasks and “is composed of” linked issues" as a guide? I believe the subtasks are being handled properly, and all they would need at this time is to have the "is composed of" linked issues to be included in the aggregate -- is that possible? thanks (I just created a new issue - https://studio.plugins.atlassian.com/browse/TIME-301) thanks!
