How do I create a project via the API ?

I can get projects but I do not see anyway to create a project via the API. Am i missing something ?

There is no supported API to create projects in OnDemand.

JIRA's SOAP implementation will not create projects on the other applications of you account.

It may be possible to do this using screen-scraping tools like Mechanize (Ruby, Python).
