Participate in our Early Access Program (EAP) for Jira Cloud navigation

Hi everyone,

We're focusing on enhancing the navigation experience in Jira to make finding and progressing with your work effortless. If you’re keen on helping us improve this experience, we’d love for you to join us in an experiment so that we can understand what’s most important for your work and how you find it.

What's the experiment?

We’ve developed a Chrome extension to enable the new navigation in Jira. The key focus of the new navigation are:

  • Streamlined design for improved search and navigation

  • Unified look and feel across all Jira products for a cohesive experience

  • Customizable and collapsible sidebar so you can focus on what matters while optimizing your workspace

  • Effortless switching between projects with fewer clicks

What's involved?

We're launching a four-week experiment with the Chrome extension. To participate, take our survey to express your interest. If you qualify, we'll invite you to join a private Community group, where you can ask questions, share feedback, and connect with the team working on Jira Navigation.

Note: The extension is available to use in Chrome browsers only, and we don’t support IE, Safari, or other browsers.

Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for:

  • Active Jira users, whether newbies or seasoned pros

  • Users who have recently migrated from Jira Server/DC

  • Those who utilize multiple Jira products like Jira Software, Jira Work Management, and Jira Service Management

If you fit any of the above, talk to your Jira admins about enabling a Chrome extension from the Chrome Web Store. Your insights and participation will greatly contribute to improving the Jira experience for all users.

What to expect?

While you’re experimenting with the navigation, we intend to understand your usage and preferences so we can refine the navigation experience. Given this is an experiment, we're rolling out a limited set of features, and there may be bugs or unintended behavior. You can revert to the old experience by toggling off the extension. We’ll share more details about these bugs or issues, and you can also raise them in the group.

Once the experiment is done, you can remove this extension from your browser. At the end of this experiment, we’ll send out a survey so you can tell us more about your experience. Additionally, we may reach out to you directly to help us understand your use case better.

How to sign up?

Shape the future of Atlassian products by expressing your interest through the survey. Feel free to leave comments or reach out via email to arajah@atlassian.com.

Thanks,

The Jira Navigation team
