Error "We are currently updating the migration service" ?? ( 5-days and counting so far ? )

Has anyone run into this before? What was your resolution ?

The message says maintenance is temporary and should be able to run soon.

So far "temporary" and "soon" has meant 5 days and counting.  There is no indication of status or progress of updating the migration service. 

Should I expect days, weeks, months?

We are currently updating the migration service

We are currently updating the service that supports the Jira Cloud Migration Assistant. During this time you can save your migration, but you won’t be able to run any migrations. This maintenance is temporary and you should be able to run your migrations soon. If you need to urgently run a migration, please contact our support team.

 

Any tips or suggestions on migrating local server JIRA projects to the cloud is appreciated.

Hi Edward,

We are sorry to hear you are facing this issue.

This is due to the authentication token used by the CMA's have expired, and you need to refresh it, this is definitely not a good way to expose this issue in the UI.

But it should be an easy fix:

1. Make sure you are a site-admin in the destination cloud URL.
2. Please reconnect to your Cloud instance in JCMA (Jira server Administration > System > Migrate to cloud > Create new migration > Connect to cloud > click "Choose cloud site" button > click "Change Account" > re-enter the login credentials -> select cloud site);
