Call for Speakers: Share Your Transformation Story at Atlassian Team Tour Government 2024!

Hello all of our Government Community Members! Your agency team is transforming the way government works, and we want to hear all about it. Come share your Agile and DevOps, ITSM and ESM, and Program Management stories at the 2024 Atlassian Team Tour Government (TTG). The event is scheduled for March 6, 2024, and the Call for Speakers is officially open!

TTG 2024 is a series of events, beginning March 6, 2024 with a live event in Washington DC expected to draw over 350+ live attendees. Content will be offered in two tracks: mission and technology. Following the live event, we’ll be streaming the recorded sessions on-demand throughout the country, individually, and through Atlassian Community-led watch parties.

We’re on the hunt for great stories and speakers! All you need to do is fill out this submission form before the deadline of January 5, 2024. But don’t wait for the last minute! We encourage you to submit your session ASAP.

About the submissions: Speaker submissions are open until January 5, 2024 via the TTG Speaker portal and will be reviewed on a first come, first-served basis. We understand the timelines for approval to speak at events can be challenging, so please feel free to submit your application in parallel with your agency’s approval process. If selected to speak, we will work with you to complete any necessary approvals.

Here are a few guidelines as you prepare your proposal:

• Submission of a story is not a commitment on the part of you or your organization to speak. If your proposal is approved by Atlassian, you will have time to pursue internal approvals.

• Your story is not expected to be an endorsement. We’re looking for stories that focus your team accomplishments

• Sessions should target 30 minutes (plan for 20-25 minutes of content and 5-10 minutes of Q&A)

• Consider which session your talk would fit into better: Impact to the Mission or Transformative Technology Approaches

• Your agency stories can be on any relevant topic, but they make for the best fit if they’re aligned to one of the areas below:

  • Work Management: Stories about managing non-technical projects and team collaboration

  • Agile & DevOps: Stories about Agile Software Development and DevSecOps

  • Program Management: Stories about managing large agency programs

  • Services Delivery: Stories about IT Service Management or Enterprise Service Management (e.g.: HR, Budget/Finance, Procurement, Legal, and more)

What happens next? Proposals will be reviewed and selected on a rolling basis by Atlassian. Accepted speakers will be notified within 3 weeks of their submission, until January 12, 2024. You can use the submission portal for status updates, and if approved, to complete the list of next steps needed to move forward.
